Oil Painting Class - Thursday, May 16th 6-9PM

Join Kristy DeFlores, an art educator for 20 years and owner of ArtMuse School of Studio Art, for an introductory  oil painting workshop. Students will be guided through step by step instruction on painting with water mixable oil paint. We will be creating a very classical still life of a lemon. 

Class Length: 3 hours

Topics covered in this workshop include: basic drawing instruction, color mixing, color application, under painting, brush stroke techniques and tips and tricks to make oil painting easy and relaxing.

Care

Store your jewelry in a dry, air-tight container such as the plastic baggie your jewelry arrived in.  Store your jewelry away from other base metals. Exposure to hooks or trays made with base metals will cause jewelry to oxidize.Avoid exposing your jewelry to water. The minerals/chemicals in tap water, pools, saunas, beaches, etc. will cause jewelry to oxidize quickly. It is also a good idea to avoid lotions, oils and perfumes where your jewelry may lie.Remove your jewelry before working out or sleeping.
