‘Tis the season to search for the perfect gifts for your near and dear ones. Lucky for you, we have an Open Studio on Novemeber 19th and December 5th. You will have the opportunity to browse the collections, make custom orders with Sarah and Hannah, mingle with friends, and find treasures that will last a lifetime. This is one of our favorite times of year. We really enjoy watching what you put together and finding pieces that are perfect for you, or a gift. Did I mention we will have wine, hors d’oeuvres, and wine? (oh wait, I already mentioned wine)
Here are a few pieces from the different collections that will be available at the Open Studio. AND, a sneak peak into our Spring/Summer 2016 Collection — which is not ready for purchase, but you can begin your wishlist!
***If you can’t make it to either Open Studio, contact us or browse the shop. We’re adding new jewelry everyday!
Open Studio: 11/19 from 4:00-9:00 & 12/5 from 10:00-5:00 — 325 Almshouse Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 — (215)512-1131

I have fallen in love with sapphires and have used them in many recent designs. You may be familiar with sapphires, they are typically a blue color stone. The traditional sapphire is gorgeous! However…
…sapphires can be found in a variety of colors. Trace amounts of elements such as iron, titanium, chromium, copper, or magnesium can give sapphires a blue, yellow, purple, orange, or green color. Stunning, right?!
We are having so much fun creating different looks with the bar style necklace and various hues of sapphires.
We are seeing our bridal customers fall head-over-heels for sapphires as well! This funky bride has the perfect custom necklace to complement her day.
Sapphires are for the traditional girl who admires the purity of the blue stone, or for the girl who likes to shake things up and get a new color on. We can’t seem to stop buying sapphires, so keep in touch with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Etsy to see the newest designs!

We walk all over Manhattan visiting our favorite gemstone and pearl dealers in search for the PERFECT stones. We have been visiting the same shops for years, now it feels like we are visiting old friends.
We also get the inside scoop on what is new and get to go to the back of the shop to choose stones that are not available to other buyers. We feel a little like celebrities, but not really. The shops are filled with walls of shimmering color and texture. I know I’ve said it before, but it really is like a candy shop!
We go to lunch at the same pizza place on 42nd Street, I don’t even know the name of it. We walk and walk from shop to shop collecting strands and strands, weighing down our backpacks with thousands of dollars of stones. I get inspired by the people we pass, what they are wearing, and how they are wearing it. The city is filled with a buzz of energy. Our trips are super intense, but so relaxing too.
We already can’t wait for our next trip.

This weekend is our favorite show of the year, the Doylestown Arts Festival. Hannah and I grew up in Doylestown, and there is no better place (except maybe fashion week in New York) to share our designs– SB Collections, Stone + Pearl Bridal, and a sneak peek into Stone + Pearl Coastal.
If you are not familiar with the Doylestown Arts Festival, then you are not from the Philadelphia region! Local artists from Pennsylvania and the East Coast come together to sell and show their work. It is an eclectic community of vendors, musicians, artists, and shoppers. Oh, and the food is fabulous too. I know once a year I will guiltlessly eat fried Oreos, funnel cake, and cheese curds.
Doylestown is an artsy community that fully supports the Buy Local movement. Not only will you find local artists on the street this weekend, but take the opportunity to stop in the Doylestown Food Co-op for local and fresh eats, the Doylestown Bookshop, the many boutiques, and our kids favorite, Busy Bee Toy’s. Oh, and I have to mention, the County Theatre, where you can catch a great indie-film.
Um, yes, I love my town and I hope this weekend, you do as well! Stop by our tent (#25) on State Street, between Hamilton and Clinton. If you can’t make it out this weekend, we welcome studio appointments to browse the collections.
